Welcome to Transfer Credit System (“TCS”) of British Columbia Council on Admissions & Transfer (BCCAT). BCCAT is a government-funded, advisory committee established by the Minister of Advanced Education, Skills, & Training (the “Ministry”).
These terms of use (“Terms of Use”) apply exclusively to your access to, and use of, TCS and BCCAT services available through TCS, so please read them carefully.
By accessing, browsing, and using TCS and BCCAT services available through TCS, you agree to be bound by these terms of use, all BCCAT policies incorporated by reference or otherwise applicable to use of TCS and BCCAT services, and any subsequent changes to thereof. If you do not agree to these terms of use, applicable policies, or any subsequent change, do not access, browse or otherwise use TCS or BCCAT services.
BCCAT reserves the right to change or modify any of the terms and conditions contained in these Terms of Use and any applicable policy, at any time and in its sole discretion. Any changes or modifications will be effective upon posting to TCS of revised Terms of Use and applicable policies. Your continued use of TCS following the posting of the revised Terms of Use and applicable policies will constitute your acceptance thereof. License and Site Access
BCCAT grants you a limited license to use TCS for personal and informational purposes and in connection with browsing, accessing, and using BCCAT services. Such grant does not include, without limitation: (a) any resale or commercial use of TCS or content therein; (b) making derivative uses of TCS and its contents; or (c) use of any data mining, robots, or similar data gathering and extraction methods. Except as noted above, you are not conveyed any right or license by implication, estoppel, or otherwise in or under any patent, trademark, copyright, or proprietary right of BCCAT or any third party.

Data & Other Information
If you provide information to BCCAT, then you agree to provide true, accurate, current, and complete information about yourself (“Data”) as prompted by BCCAT forms or requests, and to maintain and promptly update the Data to keep it true, accurate, current and complete. If you provide any Data or other information to BCCAT that is untrue, inaccurate, not current, or incomplete, or BCCAT has reasonable grounds to believe that such Data or other information is untrue, inaccurate, not current, or incomplete, BCCAT has the right to suspend or terminate your use of TCS and BCCAT’ services.
If BCCAT provides you with a user ID and password for access and use of areas of TCS, you are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of that user ID and password. You agree to notify BCCAT immediately of any unauthorized use of your user ID and password.

You may not use, frame or utilize framing techniques to enclose any BCCAT trademark, logo, or other information displayed on TCS (including the images found at TCS, the content of any text or the layout/design of any page or form contained on a page) without BCCAT’ express written consent. Further, you may not use any meta tags or any other “hidden text” utilizing a BCCAT name, trademark, or product or service name without BCCAT’ express written consent.
Viruses, etc.
BCCAT assumes no responsibility, and shall not be liable for any damages to, or viruses or other harmful components that may infect, your computer equipment or other property on account of your access to, use of, or browsing in TCS or your downloading of any materials, including, data, text, and images from TCS.
Linked Sites
BCCAT makes no representation, warranty, or condition regarding, and accepts no responsibility for, the quality, content, nature or reliability of sites accessible by hyperlink from TCS, or sites linking to TCS. Such linked sites are not under the control of BCCAT and BCCAT is not responsible for the content of any linked site or any link contained in a linked site, or any review, changes or updates to such sites. Entire Agreement
These Terms of Use, and the documents referred to herein and any documents executed or delivered pursuant hereto, constitute the entire agreement between us relating to the subject matter hereof, and supersede any prior understandings or agreements (whether electronic, oral, or written) regarding such subject matter.
Severability
If any provision of these Terms of Use will be deemed unlawful, void, or for any reason unenforceable, then that provision will be deemed severable from these Terms of Use and will not affect the validity and enforceability of any remaining provisions.
Termination
Any unauthorized use of TCS or breach of these Terms of Use will automatically terminate the license granted by these Terms of Use, may violate applicable law including copyright laws, trademark laws (including trade dress), and communications regulations and statutes, and may in BCCAT’ discretion result in termination of any of BCCAT’ services to you.
Notwithstanding any of these Terms of Use, BCCAT reserves the right, without notice and in its sole discretion, to terminate your license to use TCS, and to block or prevent future access to and use of TCS.
